Installed this in an upstairs bathroom that has no other means of ventilation, it is not loud, you can hear the faucet running louder than it. The heater itself is not very hot, but the difference with and without it is very noticeable. The fan, isn't very strong, but does help the entire bathroom not to become a sauna.

This replaced the original Nutone 1972 fan that came with the house. It's a bit larger so I had to cut the hole some but not a problem. Wiring it was not too hard, it comes with a diagram. It's louder than I thought but I don't mind that. The air flow is great. Definitely a great buy. Only thing I don't like is the cover is cheap looking.
