If you are English, you miss this. Cost is almost secondary. Fries are chips, which need malt vinegar. Very few restaurants in the USA appreciate this (although a growing number do). Buy it, as a taste from home. Yum!
It really does taste different than american malt vinegar.

Got a hankerin' to figure out British fish and chips. Bought this to make it "authentic".. I was really shocked to find there really is a difference. This stuff is really, really yummy!

I have to say This is the Best MALT Vinegar for Chips & Fish!i really like the Taste
and my fish was not Soak because of the Bottle Cap Little Slice to keep from Pouring
too much!this is worth every pennies IF you like Malt Vinegar!wish it was a lot bigger and
made of Plastic incase I drop it or one of my KIDS!!Anyway I love this Brand(Sarsons) so
get a couple of Bottles and try it!
