Good Sturdy Recycling Container

Just received the can and it is a big improvement over the 24 gallon cans we got free from NYC years ago. Recycle collection is done here once a week and boy do we have lots of recycle junk to throw away. If I try to make the trash bags a bit compressed I might be lucky to get 2 13 gal. white bags into the old can. Now I don't even have to think about it. Should have done this some time ago. Though still not sure iI understand what those loose flaps on the handles are supposed to do.

Great can. I would have gave it a 5 star, but there is a tiny bit of false advertising. The recycle arrows are not on here. Guess I but some and hope they last longer than a week before peeling lol.

This is a really good garbage can for recycling! I recommend also purchasing the matching lid - Rubbermaid Commercial 1788376 BRUTE Heavy-Duty Round Waste/Utility Container, 32-gallon Bottle/Can Recycling lid, Blue. Together they are excellent at making sure only the recycling goes in the can. I own an rental property and we were having problems with the guests putting the recycling in the right can. There is no mistaking what goes in the can, especially when you add the lid. I highly recommend this product and I love the blue color. It is also a great price. A similar product was over twice the amount of money at the local hardware store.

Good can, maybe a little small for my application

I like this heavy duty can, but I think I'd go up one size if I were to do it over. Somehow it doesn't seem to hold enough recycling, particularly when some of it is cardboard boxes either broken down or still intact.
