Bought these (3 sets - should have bought 4) for my grandchildren to entertain them while visiting us. Of course, the older ones (ages 8 -13) knew them well in that they used them in school activities for concentration an agility and the younger ones (ages 4 - 2) loved them for ALL types of reasons. Other than the noise of stacking, shuffling, shouting of time finishes (along with the throwing and crying over who gets which color - LOL), they were a HUGE hit and actually became the go to "toy" for various reasons all week long. The biggest negative was they wanted to take them home and that was a NO - have to come to "Nonni's house".

Just like the ones you order through the school. 8 year old son was thrilled to get these so he could practice before tryouts for his school team. Sturdy and perfect for practicing at home. The holder that comes with them is great for helping them maintain their original shape and not get bent or damaged. We travel A LOT and that was a MUST.

I was so excited to get these for my nephew after seeing them featured on The Amazing Race. I know he will love trying to master these challenges. Unfortunately, upon opening them, small red pieces fell out of the bag. Two of the cups had cracked at the bottoms - the narrow end (the bottom if it were an actual cup). I think they will still work but it would be nice to have a complete set that isn't broken. I don't want to go to the trouble to return the whole set but would really appreciate a replacement for the two broken cups.

My daughter had a set of these about 10 years ago. She wanted another set since she doesn't have hers anymore. I bought these for her birthday. While she loves them, I was extremely disappointed. They simply came in a clear zip top bag. Not cool for gift giving.

Son loved it. I love that it is something that is not electronic. He loves carrying it around with the black pole and then quickly releasing the cups. He uses it in other play like stacking it upside down and jumping over it, or by flying small cars over it. He tries so hard to get better at stacking and it is easy to do but hard to be great and fast at it.
