I'm using a pair of these in a hydroponics setup. I have around 11,000 hours of almost continuous (24/7) use on each of them with no issues at all. They are located in a outdoor shed that sees whatever the outside temperature might be... over 100 F and under 32 F at the extremes.

13w version. has a noticeable hum that becomes loud at full power. noting that its a low frequency, the sound easily goes through walls. honestly for me, i would use this for at most two 5 gal pales to aerate.

The noise level doesn't bother me at all, but I suppose that is subjective. Regardless, this pump has been working very well for the last 2 months supplying air to all 8 outlets very efficiently across a 4 bucket hydroponics system - 2 air stones per bucket. I am very happy with this pump. I will purchase a second pump, once I build my second hydroponics system.
