Disappointed in product and refunded $20 less than the amount paid.

Not what I expected. Requires hook up to water source rather than recirculating water.
Not worth the price.
Initiated a return request. When I finally got help to repackage the item they refunded $20 less than paid for the item.
If we had known they would not give a full refund, we would have kept the item and sold it privately.
Very, very, very disappointed in this practice.

In the product picture this birdbath appears to be a light shade of grey resembling rocks. Not so! ! It is a very pale 'ivory' color and does not look like any rock I've seen. Very disappointed. Also when I unwrapped it and cleaned it with the hose in the sunlight there are 2 very very thin areas that at first I thought were holes. On closer inspection they are not holes but could easily become holes because of the lack of any thickness of the resin(?) there. I have written to the Cornell Orthnology dept. asking them if there is a bird- animal- insect- safe paint I can use to cover this awful color. Haven't heard back yet. Hope there is something out there as this is not, in my opinion, attractive in any way. It actually looks as though it was unfinished and had another process or more to go through on the assembly line! It too, is very expensive in view of the aesthetics. It DOES hold water though (albeit very very little ..1/2 gallon at most) so I gave it two stars. Honestly, I wish I had spent a bit more money on a nicer-looking and better made quality. Maybe I got a defective product??
Disappointed in size of bath area

Not as big as listed. Maybe 21" x 17" for outside dimensions; see pictures. Actual bath area is more like 14" x 9" x 2" deep at the deepest. I was hoping this would be something the larger birds would enjoy - so far the bees love and not much else. I am sure eventually the smaller birds will join the bees. Just set it out today so we will see.
It doesn't look like the picture it comes completely white

I bought this bird bath because I feed chippy birds, doves and squirrels in the backyard. I also wanted something that fit in with the garden. At first no animal would come near it for months and slowly but surely they are starting to bath and drink from it. It doesn't look like the picture it comes completely white. It is not starting to get character and getting a little darker from the animals. Suggestion: I like how it is a little shallow at one end and a little deeper at another. Maybe a tad deeper on the deep end. BIG TIME CONS: After a while the bird bath gets dirty and its hard to clean because of the rough texture. Then it get green allgy big problem ao the bath looks dirty and green. Very hard to clean. If it sits in the sun some goes away. I would not recommend buying this bird bath. Very disappointing especially for the expensive price.
Mine Was Not Yellow...

3 stars for "it's OK" sums it up. This thing is BIG, but the actual water capacity seems relatively small. The bird bath I received was a very light grey color and DOES NOT look "aesthetically natural" in our xeriscaped AZ yard -- It stands out starkly against the gravel. I dug shallowly into the gravel and set the bird bath into the depression, banking the gravel up against the sides hoping it would blend in better. After it had sat filled with water for a few hours, I found some slimy, grainy, pasty residue had formed in spots on the bottom of the bird bath (parts that were under water). I'll keep a close eye on this because I don't know if it could be a sign of deterioration or just excess fiberglass sloughing away. The good points: I was terrified I'd receive a YELLOW bird bath (as other reviewers did) but glad that did not happen. The entire surface of the bath is roughly textured -- nice for birdy feed to get a grip on. The bath is deeper at one end sloping to the shallow end. Now to see how it holds up.
