A Worthy Upgrade!
Jamez C•May 7, 2017
I originally purchased these speakers during Amazon's Cyber Monday deals back in November 2016, and have been using them ever since. Having came from the cheap $10 Logitech speakers that I had used for years, these were definitely a worthwhile upgrade. Movies and music are exceptionally clear, and the best of all, I'm actually hearing some bass for the first time in years!
Pros:
-I personally think these speakers look very professional. If your coming from a pair of small multimedia speakers, these initially seem quite large in comparison, but they look great on my desk, so I have no complaints with the size.
-The knobs for controlling the bass, treble, and volume are easy to turn and fine-tune to your preference. The headphone jack is also nice having around.
-While I'm no audiophile by any means, the sound is superb. Mids and highs seem crisp and clear, and there's some thump to the bass.
Cons:
-While the bass is certainly enough for me, it may not be for everyone. If your crank up the bass, it starts to sound a bit distorted and overshadows everything else. For this reason, I generally keep the bass turned down fairly low, and even then, it's still noticeable (although not overpowering).
-Price. For the current sale price, I'm not quite sure if I'd recommend these speakers. I got them on sale for around $60 and for that price, I think that they were more than worth it.
Also, as a bit of a side note to potential buyers: When I was researching these speakers, I heard many people mentioning how the speakers would turn off after a short time of inactivity, meaning that, when you did turn your music on again, there would be a short delay in the speakers actually turning back on. I'm happy to report that (at least with my computer) this isn't the case. In the six months that I've owned these speakers, they've never once turned off, at all, unless unplugged from the wall or power strip.
So, in conclusion, if your coming from cheap multimedia speakers and your looking to finally upgrade your sound setup, these are a great option if you want a pair of speakers that have clear sound reproduction and a decent amount of bass. However, if your an audiophile looking for professional grade speakers, or someone who needs a good amount of bass in their speakers, then these probably won't be what your looking for.

but these sound a LOT better, with a richer
Mortimer•April 7, 2017
I bought these to replace my old Diamond Audio EMC2.0 computer speakers. I'm no audiophile, but these sound a LOT better, with a richer, cleaner sound and plenty of volume for my 11x12 home office. Doubt I'd use them for a large room or for a television as some apparently have, but for my small office they offer plenty of crisp, clean sound. Some commenters have noted that the yellow speakers don't show as much as they do in the picture above. That's because the grilles are not present in that photo. If you really want to see the yellow, just pop the grilles off. I don't, and so have left the grilles on. Also a couple of people have complained about the blue light on the volume control. The light doesn't bother me. But the knob isn't all that easy to grasp, and when the room is dark the blue light doesn't help at all to see how high the volume is turned up. Nothing I can't deal with, though. Finally, I waited a couple of months to post a review to make sure they not only worked when I got them, but would continue to. No problems. My experience - they sound great for the money and are just right for my office computer. Glad I got them.
Great 2.0 Speakers
Ballossom•February 22, 2017
I am using these through the Headphone jack on the back of a 27" LCD TV I have in my office. My wife has a pair of Bose Companion 2 speakers for her desktop PC. Both sets of speakers sound very good for 2.0 systems and no complaints with either pair. Due to the separate Bass & Treble controls on the Creative speakers, I prefer them for use on my TV. (There is no Bass/Treble control on the TV headphone output).
I would recommend these without hesitation.

Take Little Space...Sound Great
KJ Toso•January 30, 2017
I finally got rid of my 5.1 surround sound computer speakers that were cluttering up my office space with a massive sub-woofer and what seemed like a mile worth of speaker wires. I wanted to replace them with something with just two speakers and possibly a smaller sub-woofer. I went to the local retail joint and listened to many different brands with sub-woofers and then spotted the GigaWorks T20 speakers. I tried them and they sounded pretty good even without a separate sub-woofer. I decided to give them a try and ordered through Amazon because they were $30 cheaper. Once I got them home and connected, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of sound. I will say they don't produce the nice bass sound a system with a separate sub-woofer would, but for my use, they are splendid. I'm not a big gamer anymore and I don't watch movies on my main system. If you're looking for speakers like that, these aren't for you. However, if you're looking for speakers that simply sound nice and don't take up much room at all, these speakers are for you.
Great speakers for the price
Amazon Customer•January 3, 2017
Great speakers for the price, for my purpose. I did not buy these to listen at high volumes and to replicate home stereo sound. My desktop CPU is under my desk and I wanted speakers that would bring the sound to desktop level. I use them for music, videos, and telephone calls. Again I am very pleased with the performance especially at the price point.
