My dad walked into a pizza shop one day and saw them using this product. Up until that point he had been making his own sauce. He figured if it was good enough for a pizza shop to use it was good enough for him to use. Growing up in the Chicago area I could buy this at the stores, but now that I live in Southern California the only way I can get it is on Amazon. I will continue buying this as long as it doesn't change.

My family has been making homemade pizza for nearly 50 years and we have only used Pastorelli. When we lived in areas that didn't carry it, we would order it by the case. Of course being from Chicago we know good pizza! It is a fabulous uniquely flavored pizza sauce. Much more than your plain tomato sauce! We use it to make 'pizza burgers', Add the sauce to browned ground beef and add mozzarella, oregano, anise seed, mix until cheese melts. Beyond fabulous and this good cause of the Pastorelli!
