I won't claim to be the world's most expert salsa connoisseur, but I absolutely LOVE this salsa. It is, without a doubt, the most delicious I've ever tasted. My wife introduced me to the salsa 3 years ago before I'd ever tried a "green" salsa (so was a bit skeptical), and I've been 100% hooked ever since. Yes, it's maybe a tad pricer than other brands, but it is worth every penny.
They used to sell it at the grocery store in our local Wal-Mart (admittedly it was the only reason I would even go into a Wal-Mart) but it was discontinued for an unknown reason. Not wanting to settle for a second-rate salsa, I turned to Amazon to purchase the salsa in packs of 6. The shipment arrived on time and was well-packed. The salsa stays fresh for months without refrigeration until it is opened.
I couldn't be more satisfied and am now a Salsa Del Rio loyalist for life.

This stuff is fantastic. If you are looking for a dynamic yet medium salsa, look no further. Though it's medium it still has a nice kick to it but nothing to break you out into a sweat. I've tried a lot of salsa being in Texas, but to me, this is the best I've found to date. It's absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with this salsa.

I *LOVE* the green chile flavor in this salsa. Add to that the perfect balance of acidity, the right roasting, cilantro and salt and it just doesn't get any better.
I find the medium spice rating to be very accurate and perfect for me. If I eat a lot really fast (as I often do) I can get to the point of a somewhat painful spice, but generally it's just a satisfying salsa heat.
Simple meal: scrambled eggs and Del Rio salsa. Done!
Even better with some beans and tortillas, but eggs and salsa are all you really need.
Obviously great on chips. Put it on tacos. Drink it with a straw. It's all good.
Just buy this salsa already. And then prepare to be disappointed by all other salsa in a jar.
