I have used this product for years but recently have been unable to find it in local grocery stores. I thought ordering on line was my answer. I ordered a case, opened 3 and all were bad. It looked as though the cans may have been frozen at one time then thawed. The consistency of the gravy looked like mud and had a horrible smell. I threw all 12 cans in the garbage.

Have been looking for a replacement for North American brand which everyone in my family used forever for our pepper steak recipe. It was discontinued a while ago and we were all disappointed. But it turns out that Dawn Fresh is much better. Wish I had tried it years ago!
