When I got this I had an issue with it so I contacted the manufacturer and got a quick response. The missing part was quickly replaced. They have great customer service.
I really like the box. I thought I would purchase it for extra insurance because our area has gone through some recent floods. It is a good size to keep quite a few things dry and safe. I am mainly going to keep first aid supplies for my hurricane kit. I like the addition of the compass as well.

Works well but the lid flexs and might not seal if you aren't careful about how the contents fits. I mounted the box on the front of a pannier on my motorcycle and I did not have any problems during a 24 day trip including a coupla days riding in the rain as well as it sitting in the rain on a coupla nights. I packed it up as my first aid kit and it held I need for that use.

The internal dimensions are less than stated due to the ridges and contours of the inside. I had an item that on paper is supposed to fit perfectly inside this box. I measured it with digital calipers before ordering the box and it should fit with a few hundredths to spare. I was very excited because I wanted a snug fit. I got the box and the lid will not come close to closing because the ridges in the lid and the bump for the compass hit the item. If you are putting solid objects in this container be sure you allow for an extra 1/4" or so of clearance past the stated dimensions. I am still giving it 2 stars because the construction seems decent and I will be keeping it for some other future purpose.

I bought this for when I travel or go with someone that I may be outside when it may rain or around water. It will keep your wallet, Keys and cell phone dry. In one corner I put a key ring on so I could hook a D ring to attach it to a belt loop or a piece of rope tied around my ankle if I am around water or in a boat so I wont loose it if something happens to the boat.

I use this for my flare gun and spare flares. The flare gun and flares are in great shape. This is water proof enough to be stored in the boat. I have never dunked it or anything like that, so keep that in mind with this review. The triple latch is a plus!
