All though it was delivered one day after I ordered it, I was unable to use it or try it out until today. The reason why, is because the Butane did not come until today.
The Gas One New 10,000 BTU portable camp stove is easy and safe to use, this camp stove is also very light in weight. It came with its own carry case, instructions and a windshield. I can see us using this on camping trips, fishing trips and also if there is a power outage in my area.
My building is wired in such a way, that when you lose power, you lose the water, gas and light, so this would make a great back up system if that happens.
I love this stove, because you don't need any matches or a lighter to get it started, it automatically ignites, and clean up should be a breeze!

I bought this for times when the power is out. I will store it in my Disaster Kit in our basement in case we would ever need it in an emergency. Soon we will be retiring in Florida and plan to continue to keep our Disaster Kit ready to go in case we would need to evacuate. I bet it would also be an awesome camping accessory too !! The reviews do say that it doesn't work well in breezy area's so maybe purchase the wind shield if you are going to use it for this purpose. Good Luck & Stay Safe !

This works great. I've had no problems with the ignition and no issues with the plastic case as some reviewers have. I've used this indoors for hotpot all winter with no problems. The cans of gas are simple to install and use. I plan on taking this camping at Yosemite in April, and will update this review if there are any problems. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase and think that it's a good value too.
