Was disappointed when I was upgrading two of my computers and found that my older but great running model only had a six outlet plug for the power source for the new or used video card I was swapping from the new to lo old. Found on YouTube a device that would solve my problem. Good OL' Amazon came to my rescue. This is simply a good, reliable cable that works as intended and it doesn't get too hot or anything or cause any issues even when it's being pushed a bit and would recommend this to anyone working with odd Non-Modular PSU setups where you're trying to get something like a basic graphics card or a sound card or something like that working in a older or more proprietary rig. You may want to get somewhat creative with zip ties though if you're a bit finicky about final appearance.

It's exactly what I needed. I got a bigger case and my power supply did not have a long enough cord to reach the video card. I picked up two (the new case is a lan box so it pretty large) and glad I did. Its a good quality, something you would expect for the price. The only thing I wish is it had a braided mash over it so it matched the rest of my box cables, but that's not enough to knock a star off.

Did the trick to extend power in my Dell OptiPlex Mid-Tower (ITX) to my new shorty Video Card when combined with the StarTech 6-Pin to 2x 15-Pin SATA Power connector PCI Express Adapter StarTech.com 8-Inch 6 pin PCI Express Power Extension Cable (PCIEPOWEXT). The Dells don't have any spare power connectors in the harness, only additional connectors for SATA Drives, and they are routed so tight that I needed more than the available 6 inch "Y-Cable". The only gripe I have is that the wire used is a bit stiff.
