I've been wanting to climb outside but as holding off on buying a crash pad. However, due to covid I'm avoiding the climbing gym now. My friend has this exact pad and I loved that it has the velcro to attach to other mad rock pads so I had to purchase one. Mine arrive a day early in perfect condition! It firm and will break your fall. These have been selling out quickly so do yourself a favor and buy it when you see it, you won't regret it.

Main points: good pad for the price; not many features, but it's lightweight, decent size, and makes a great couch for the 99% of the time it's not out in the boulder fields. Just wish the straps weren't so long (they drag on the ground) and that there were some loops for carabiners and whatnot. Overall, very happy with it

I have 4 of these mats for my home bouldering wall and so far, they have held up very well. It's not yet outdoor climbing season where I live, so I have not had a chance to take them outside to see how the fabric holds up to that type of wear and tear.

These are nice, firm pads with a durable cover. They can be folded in half for travel and include backpack straps so they can be carried on your back as needed. You can also link 2 or more of them together in a row. I was hopeful that I would've been able to join 4 together into a large square, but that is not possible as the velcro is only on 2 sides as you can somewhat see in the product photo.

Overall these are nice, fairly inexpensive crash pads.

Have used plenty of times for my bouldering trips. Lots of foam, i never feel the ground, it's great to land on! The small fold up size means it JUST fits into a hatchback, whereas the larger mats could not, which is a plus. However, the landing area isn't huge, but is definitely good enough. I'm very happy with the pad, I would recommend this to others as a first pad!

Saved me from getting hurt from a rocky fall off an 18 foot boulder. Definitely solid cushioning
