So far it does a good job turning 220V into 110V to use US things in Europe, things that don't have world voltage compatibility. If I had one nit, the part where a 3-prong (grounded) US plug plugs into the front -- the 'universal' plug receptacle isn't really exactly the right sized, so you have to bend out the ground prong a big to get it to fit, and even then it's not in there securely. But that's my only complaint.

I bought two of these and my wife took them to Russia for her two daughters. They had American crock pots which were purchased in '11 and had not been used. These units have made them both very happy and now they can use their crock pots. They work just as described. Happy customers.

Very satisfied as I use it for an Italian sewing machine. It works well. Just switch it on for one minute or two, then plug in the machine or device, then turn on the device. Do not rush into the process. It works when you are patient.
Save money from buying new appliances when moving to Europe. Use this instead.

I use this every other day in Europe. I moved from New York to Amsterdam about a year ago, and this converter has been great for bigger items that I don't want to take chances with smaller converters. I've connected a printer, blender, and vacuum to it. Saved a lot of money from buying new appliances.
