Had our shower remodeled so didn't use this stool right away. We had it put together and loved the look and style of it. Sat on it when it was dry...nice seat, sturdy legs. Once the shower remodel was finished, we tried it during a shower. After two uses, I looked at the underside of the seat and found two panels had split horizontally. Now moisture has gotten into the areas. Note--We're well under the weight limit that is given. Very, very disappointed. Now have to look for a replacement.

Everything ok except in the open slits where when you sit on bench and have a wet bottom the un-sanded inner slit area is sharp and unpleasant on the body.

A useful stool that is aesthetically pleasing and durable. I've only had mine for a short time, but it has come in handy, first as a shower stool prior to back surgery, and now as a bedside seat for visiting friends and home-health nurses. My bathtub is not quite wide enough to allow all four legs to rest flat on the bottom of the tub; one or two legs have a slight curve to the black rubber. But it still feels solid.
