BPA free and a good price. However the spigot is located so far down to the base that if stored in the position you see in the online photo, with screw top up, then the spigot becomes slightly bent under the pressure of sitting on whatever surface it's on and water leaks out. You have to make certain that the spigot is suspended off the counter entirely. Once I bring it home full then I have to store it on its side to avoid the leak. No leaking so far out of the top aperture. One must never drop these even when empty. They are fragile and cracks happen to the plastic very easily.
A nice container that I would purchase again.

This is a nice container. I got it to store hummingbird food in the refrigerator and it has worked out quite well. It fits in the frig perfectly, does not drip, and is not fancy but pretty nice looking. It is easy to clean which is important when you are storing sugar water in it. We go through a lot of hummingbird food so it is a frequently used item. I would definitely buy it again.

We go tent camping (a lot!) and I found this water container to be perfect for my hack - which was to create a washing station while camping. I've attached a photo showing my set-up. It is durable, and easy to clean because of the extra large opening on the top. Before purchasing I noticed others saying the spigot leaked, but we didn't have any trouble at all. So far so good!

This tank is an excellent dispenser for laundry soap products. It holds the larger volumes found in many of the current products. We needed it to hold detergent from a container that sprung a leak but it also worked nicely for us in that it fit into a location that had some height restrictions.
I did follow common sense advice and drilled a vent hole, about 3/16", in the handle to provide for smooth dispensing flow. Because of this position of the hole it does NOT pose any spill hazard and allows the top to be kept tight.
