Great adjustable support racks for the price
Randall 312✓ Verified Purchase•January 3, 2018
Great adjustable support racks for the price. Installation is easy, just make sure you get them lined up properly. I used a snap (chalk) line and that can really help if you don't have a straight edge long enough to cover the span between your joists. I read some complaints where people say there's a bit of movement. There should be no movement where these are screwed into your joists. But there is a very tiny bit of movement where the racks interlock. That is expected and not a defect of an adjustable/interlocking rack. The minuscule shifting will stop once any weight is applied.
Cleared my floor of clutter! A little wobbly, but you can eliminate a lot of it by really tightening the bracket screws down hard

Brackets are easy to assemble, and medium weight items. Their are rated for 250 lbs, but I used a third bracket, and combined to give me a piece of mind for a safe 300 lb weight limit (you'll need to buy three sets of brackets for two shelves of center supported shelves). I did have two bolts that were messed up on threads, had to buy them at the local hardware store. Overall, a great value for the money.
Great product. Sturdy. Great price!

Great product! If you are trying to install these storage racks in a garage or other area and you are having trouble finding the studs then purchase a good rare earth magnet. You can run the magnet over your ceiling to identify where the studs are even in cases where your ceiling has multiple layers of sheetrock installed.
Hurricane panels out of the way!

Easy to assemble. Sturdy enough for holding all 12 of my 8' long aluminum hurricane panels with easy access to them next year. Perfect for hiding lots of seldom used but necessary items neatly above garage door. Great storage solution at affordable price.
Not too bad for the price

For my intended use, I am very happy with my purchase. They were not extremely easy to install, but we did get them up.
What I would have appreciated knowing was that in order for you to get the most use out of them, how they need to be installed. Meaning the 2 brackets as far apart as recommend from each other and each bracket fully extended. The original spot in my garage where I intended on installing them was not going to allow for the full use, so I had to put it in another spot which meant moving shelving. With that being said each bracket will be installed on a separate ceiling joist. I believe you could still install it with one leg of the bracket on one joist and other on another, but you will not full use out of it. I would suggest figuring out which direction your joist are going and which direction you want to install it.
Again I am pretty happy with this. After installing it I put TWO - 1X12's and ONE 1X6 - between the brackets and then used screws to secure them.
