AS others have mentioned, the cord from the receiver to the phone is WAY too short (i.e.5 inches). Otherwise, this is very similar to the one I grew up with and still better than the newer version.

The classic toy - but of course, my grandson doesn't know this is a phone. But he loves the noised it makes and talks to it as he rings the belland clacks it along. Maybe one day we will be able to show him a phone like this, but it is still a good toy.

I bought this for my nephew he's 18 months he's super smart. He can sing and get a 42% on Xbox One rock band. My nephew David is super smart. I remember having this toy at Grandma's house when I was growing up. I'm sure when I receive it tonight when I come home from work. David's going to like it. I'm a 38 year old uncle who's going to be teaching my nephew I had and I was going Fisher Price all the way baby. And Amazon rocks long life customer here
