Nice Product but it's a bait and switch-

The mag switch MLAY600 is not what you get and I tried twice. What arrives is the M50-300 that looks just like the advertised unit and is very well made and functions nicely but it is NOT the product advertised. The description says the MLAY 600 is rated for 600 pounds but the unit you receive is rated only for 300 pounds and that is probably for laboratory results only where the steel to be lifted is cleaned and polished to a mirror mating surface. I used two of these at once to attempt to lift clean 4'x6'x1/4"plates that weighed around 250 pounds and while the two together could lift and hold the load, the slightest "jerk" on the lifting chains caused them to pop off. Again, they are well made just not marketed correctly.
Magnet delivered was half capacity of advertisement.

advertisement on mlay600 says that it will lift 600 lbs. Box that was received clearly states 300 lbs max lift.
