This is the perfect setup for me. Love the mouthpiece and lig. The sound has good projection without being overly bright. Shipping was fast and item as described.
decent

A decent metal mouthpiece for the price. Not a Brilhart or Otto Link but decent! I use it on my backup soprano
The mouhtpiece I've been looking for!

I took a chance with the Otto Link Metal Alto (Tone Master), and I am glad I did. I initially wanted to get the Meyer Metal Jazz, but it only comes in silver and one review said that it is hard to keep the tarnish out of the Meyer Metal. The Otto Link's gold plate make it a match with my dark lacquered saxophone which is an Allora Chicago alto sax (which I absolutely love by the way). With the Otto Link, I did not realize that I can produce pro quality sound. Now I know what they meant about investing in a real good mouthpiece. I wasted my time and money buying economy mouthpieces like Rico Royal Graftonite and Metalite.
The Otto Link Metal Tone Master gives you control over the low and high notes, and the sound is the old time jazz sound that I've been looking for. Make no mistake, this mouthpiece sings, and it can sing pop tunes as well. I tried playing it with a Vandoren Java 2.5 reed, but I did not like it as much as the Fibracell 2 reed.
The only very minor complaint I have with this mouthpiece is the ligature system. It is a bit awkward for me, but it does what it's supposed to do. Maybe I find it awkward because it is different.
