Works great in conjunction with other Camco covers to keep out carpenter ants
James W. Allison•November 9, 2017
We had a MAJOR carpenter ant infestation in our 2016 Forest River Rockwood Ultra-Lite TT 2706WS. I bought a Camco 42145 Flying Insect Screen - Model WH 500 for the water heater, Camco 42149 Flying Insect Screen - RS 600 - 3 Pack to cover the lower refrigerator vents, and Camco 42141 Flying Insect Screen - FUR 200 - 2 Pack to cover the heater vents, and that kept the ants from coming back after spraying, pulling the refrigerator and vacuuming out the piles of dead ants, etc.
No go for a our travel trailer....

These will not work for a Jayco 2017 Jay Flight 264BH. The curve it too steep unless you want to caulk it or something. I do not. I read and measured and read reviews and still these did not fit. There is a curve and in the photo it looked right. Other people have had to cut the square screens- we will see. I wish there was a way to tell by RV what you needed- seems like there is A LOT of guessing going on. Disappointing for sure.
Trimming probably required.

Just because the measurements seem to be correct be prepared to do some trimming. Yes I could've just jammed these things into the openings but they would have fit horribly and you would would have been just as well going without. I had to trim about 3/8 " off the length and one screen square in depth. This may not be required for everyone but just be prepared. Oh, you better have some good tools.
Worth the purchase

Screens do the job and are fairly easy to install. My only gripe is that they should have included three more zip ties as there aren't enough to get the screens to seat completely flat so I used my own. Other than that they fit snug and once installed will prevent bugs and critters from getting in.
Super easy to install

Shipping was fast. Packed with other items ordered. Super easy to install. Comes with zip ties but I used stainless steel wire to secure the pieces. That way no worries about a zip tie braking. The material is solid metal! Just don't forget to knoch out a small hole for the drain hose.
