This gate looks great. It is very strongly built but the gate does have a bit of wobble even though it's screwed to the wall... Maybe i can look at it again to make it stronger but right now it's late and I'm tired. This gates main function was to span a diagnal walkway to keep dogs out. It's perfect for any shape and the door lines up perfect for my application. Handle is easy to operate. Would recommend

I needed an extra long gate for the opening in my living room. This was perfect and long enough. They only complaint I have is the knobs you tighten to keep it the line the shape you want it, it still moves back and forth even though the knob as as tight as they can go. I'm not sure if it's possible user error on my part but my gate is completely straight and screwed Into the wall and it still moves back and forth. Luckily my little one doesn't really go up to it and hold on. She just leave she it alone. I give it 4 starts for working as it should!

Way too easy to open to keep older toddlers out of a room, but works well for pets.

I realize this was meant for kids, but I bought it to keep the dog away from my bunny. She (the rabbit) got her hips stuck in the bars trying to get out, so I attached a NIC square to the door to prevent that from happening again. The door doesn't latch properly, so this keeps the dog from just pushing the door open or from just walking in if my daughter forgets to close the door. As for my 3yo, this, by no means, stops or deters her from going in and out of the room. The latch is really easy to use, she quickly learned how to latch and unlatch it the same day it came in, which I don't mind as long as she latches it behind her (which she does), but if I bought this to keep her out of a room, I definitely would only recommend this for 1 to maybe younger 2 year olds- it would only be a matter of time before they figure it out.

This is an ok gate, but it worked for our unique install area thus I'm happy. Having a gate at the very top or bottom of the stairs is annoying, so for those reasons we like this gate. It creates a buffer zone for the stairs, it's much safer and easier. The downside is that it's not very well made. Our gate will come apart, it literally will fall apart where two sections connect, very dangerous, so I zipped tied it together and cut the zip tie back so little fingers would not get cut on on it. The latch mechanism while good so far gets stuck sometimes. I could not find any spacers for baseboard, they might sell them but I could not find them, again we have a unique install. The plastic piece that slides into the metal frame comes lose, I put some glue in it, poor design. It's a really great design in the sense of odd installations, it conforms to almost any space, just wish it was a little taller and more beefier. I do not trust pressure mounted gates at the top of the stairs, so I like that this is hardware mounted. For the stairs I highly suggest this type of gate. If your kid did manage to get over it, it gives you a small window to grab them unlike the other style gates. 3.5 stars.

Installed it tonight. Husband made it harder than what it was but turned out great and serving it's purpose. We have a 9 month old that I couldn't leave the room alone in since she liked to go touch the fireplace.
