EASY TO ASSEMBLE

EASY TO ASSEMBLE, ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE BOLTS STRIPPED THREADS WHEN TIGHTENED. HAD TO RE-DRILL BOLT HOLES AT TOP PLATE - THEY DIDN'T ALIGN.
THE STAND IS STURDY ENOUGH, BUT IS SO LIGHT THAT IT "SKATES" ON MY EPOXY COATED GARAGE FLOOR.

The stand seems nice and sturdy once you put it together but putting it together takes some time.
I guess making the legs 2 piece saves on shipping costs since they fit in a smaller box, but having one piece legs would have made it much easier to assemble.
If you look at the instruction sheet, step 2 shows that you assemble the legs using the lower holes but if you look at the assembled drawing, it shows the tool tray being mounted on the lower holes. I chose to assemble it like the completed drawing and it worked out fine with all four feet making flat contact with the floor. If I used the upper holes to mount the tray, it would have pushed the legs apart farther and the feet would not have set flat.

Nice once put together, kind of a pain to assemble though.

Item is suppose to come with 8 leg parts (4 upper & 4 lower with attachable rubber feet for the bottom 4). Mine came with only 4 leg parts. As a result I'd have to be a "little person" to even reach it on the floor were I to assemble it. Now, I will admit I just received it today. But I'd fairly assume that the "manufacturer" from which this retailer or even the retailer would double check the packaging of such a simple/basic item to avoid such headaches. The product I have (minus the necessary parts) seem to be fairly well constructed. Not too pleased with the fact there are missing parts.
I would buy another if needed.

Nice strong stand. It is a little too small for an 8AA" wen grinder so you will need to make a wood or metal plate to fully support the base. No problem.
