I purchased these shoes due to heel spurs and plantar fasciitis . Previous to these shoes, I have always worn Asics. I normally wear a 7 1/2 in regular shoes, but an 8 in gym shoes with medium thick socks. I have a wide foot. I purchased these in an 8 Regular width. The width of the toe area is a bit snug, but my Asics have mesh on the sides of the toes, which has a give to them. These shoes have a hard side. They are snug but not uncomfortable.. I wore them all day today and I've had no discomfort, and no foot or heel pain. I did get some heel inserts for some extra support, which are working well. However, I have to wear very thin socks with these. If I order another pair, I will order an 8C, so I can wear thicker socks. These shoes are doing what I needed them to do...allow me to walk without pain.

These are amazing and worth every penney. After I ruined my feet this summer wearing unsupportive sandals, I ended up with seismoiditis in my right foot. Extremely painful. Difficult to walk. Antiinflammatories supplements and these shoes brought healing of a very, very difficult to treat condition...and in a matter of weeks. I cannot recommend these highly enough for those who suffer painful foot conditions. You will not regret this purchase! Be aware that it may take a week for your feet to adjust to these as most shoes don't have the correct support and your feet will be retrained to proper alignment in these.

This is my seventh pair of this particular shoe, various colors. Obviously I love them. Admittedly I am hard on shoes, but they don't hold up well over time. Why the addiction? I have very high arches and back problems. Vionics are abt the only shoe I can wear without being in significant pain. Now, after switching to a cuter brand for a time, I am battling planters fasciitis in both feet as well as spurs & would buy anything to make this agony stop. I gave these Walkers 4 stars because they don't stand up over time, but I won't buy any other shoe.

Purchased these as they were recommended for my plantar fasciitis. Wore them to church for a couple of hours and my feet hurt. Was so glad to get them off when I got home! Tried them again a month or two later with the same results. Lent them to my sister who has foot problems and she couldn't wear them either. They might work for others but didn't for us. In addition, they really look like old lady shoes.

I have PF and this shoe has been a life saver. When my PF was flared up, they weren't comfortable but no shoe was comfortable. After all of the stretching exercises of my foot and icing it, my PF calmed down. These shoes helps to keep my feet positioned correctly so the PF doesn't return. I am purchasing my 4th pair. The first 2 pairs were awesome, the 3rd pair had issues (the bottom of the shoe came apart. I still wore them until the support broke down, I just glued the shoe back.) I hope I don't have any issues with the 4th pair I just ordered. I wear the shoes until I feel the support starting the wear down. I only wear these shoes. I'm on my feet a lot and on uneven ground a lot of the time and I am scared to wear any other shoe because these work so well.
