Excellent product, so easy to use and what a sensible and user friendly design with the interior rod! no more climbing on a chair or taking umbrella out of the stand to apply a cover!! Canvas type material is durable, thick and a beautiful neutral color, dark tanish/taupe. The price is more than reasonable for such a quality product, I am so pleased that I just ordered patio chair coves, chaise covers and a tractor cover!! now I'm looking at a cover for my pop up camper! Formosa will definitely be my "cover everything" company. Just wished I had ordered 2 more of the taupe double vented umbrella canopies, hope they return soon!!

Lasted just over a year in the California sun. The vinyl coated polyester dried out and became brittle over time and it finally split open at the top last weekend after 14 months of use. It is showing signs of cracking along the zipper as well. For the price (only $13 + shipping), I guess a year is about right. The cover did it's job by protecting the umbrella and shielding it from the sun for just about a dollar a month. The zipper combined with the rod in the cover makes it so even the kids can take the cover off without any problems. I just wish the material had lasted longer. It doesn't look nearly as nice with the duct tape patch job.

I bought an umbrella cover like this many years ago and it finally ripped and I needed to purchase a new one. I looked for this type with the rod at every store I could think of and could not find one. I purchased a different cover without the rod and getting it on and off the umbrella was a nightmare. I would have to stand up on my rocking, rod iron chairs and try to steady myself well enough to flip it over the top and pull it down. The directions suggest laying the umbrella down and sliding it on, but how practical is that with a 9' market umbrella! I was so happy when I found this one with the helper rod on Amazon. I can easily stand on the ground and just flip this over the top and pull it down. Pulls off just as easily too.
