Worked out great! Easy to install
Bob•August 19, 2017
Worked out great! Easy to install, i used the trick where you use a bolt with two nuts and they seated even and flat. Worked just how i wanted it to.
Great for making tapper handles

I bought these for making my own tapper handles. I haven't installed them into a handle yet, but they fit on the faucets great and appear to be quality items.

Tough to thread into hardwood (oak). I had to use a bigger than recommended bit, and a couple of pieces split anyway (I was drilling holes that were probably 2/3 the width of the stock, so it wasn't exactly surprising, but still, be aware). All in all, though, they're workable, with care.
Not bad
Steven Capelli•July 26, 2017
They are great....kinda. Be careful of the density of the wood you are putting them in. The E-Z Lok tool can really beat the hell out of the insert. Make sure the hole is the correct size. I had to do some boring/reaming out on poplar wood to make them fit better. A less cheaper metal would solve this problem quickly, but may jack the price up a little. Would be well worth it though
This product is a mixed bag...

Literally; I ordered the 3/8ths inserts, but exactly half of them were a different size. The outside diameter was the same but the thread size was smaller so the 3/8-16 bolts wont thread into them.
