My dad is 10 years into Parkinson's and needs a lot of help in standing and transferring. The pole was introduced at a rehab facility and the PT helped me find this one on Amazon. Directions to put together were a pain, but it has a been invaluable to us. It has stayed in place perfectly, and he's almost 200 lbs. WAY better than a transfer board for him.
