Even with the best Pro tips for replacing the front sway bar on a 9th Gen. Impala, it's still a pain, but worth the effort. This is best done on a lift instead of jack stands. This is because there's no way to get the old one out, and the new one in without dropping the sub-frame. That is what makes the entire process difficult.
Once installed and properly centered, and bolted down, it's definitely worth the trouble. It's heavy gauge, solid construction, and perfect fit, makes it the best thing you could do to your Chevy. Mine handles and drives like a new car...WITH AN ATTITUDE!
Since I replaced the sway bars on the front and back, I've done some test driving through an auto-cross course to find out how the car will handle. My time improved over the pre-install drives, and the handling is five times better. It's tight in the turns, and stays pretty flat now. Totally worth it! Now, it's time to shop for speed parts.
