Good Table
love it✓ Verified Purchase•June 7, 2017
This table is great. I haven't decided on a color of paint or finish yet, but I love that the option is mine. I have a teeny tiny apartment, so was looking for something I could keep against the wall & flat most of the time, yet have enough space to eat 3 or 4 to the table. Plus, something that will be useful for me after I move out of this temporary housing situation. The arms don't sag, in fact, the slide out piece to stabilize the drop downs are tight & sturdy. I couldn't give it 4 stars because the table is a bit wobbly, but that could perhaps be my fault from putting it together myself. Either way, it all works exactly what I needed it to.
Everything you need except the finish!

This came out beautifully. It arrived very well-packed, and was extraordinarily easy to assemble. It took me two days to put it together as it painted it; it would have taken me perhaps five minutes to assemble it without the finish.
The wood was perfectly-shaped, and perfectly-sanded. it was a lot less work than I expected.
I painted the leg and base of the table a dark espresso brown and added a clear polyurethane sealer to the table top itself. It came out looking BEAUTIFUL. My fiancee' was ecstatic.
In fact, we had breakfast at this table this very morning. Love it!

A solid, sturdy little gem of a table

As a military spouse trying to save money, over the years I've finished/re-finished quite a bit of furniture for our home. This table was one of the easiest projects I've undertaken.
The table arrives EXTREMELY well packed & organized with very easy-to-understand assembly directions. The wood is silky smooth, so no pre-sanding is necessary if you plan on painting or staining. (I stained and varnished the pieces prior to assembly.) It takes less than ten minutes to attach the legs to the pedestal, the drop leaf support assembly to the reverse side of the top, and the top to the base.
Although an Allen wrench is provided to tighten the nuts, a socket wrench is helpful to attach the legs for even faster assembly. Because it's on the heavy side, you might want to have help to flip the table to its feet. Once you get it righted, you'll see there are small adjustable plastic tabs/screws at the bottom of each foot to even out any slight chance of wobbling the table might have. Honestly, it took me longer to unpack the table than it did to put it together!
It's a solid, sturdy little gem of a table, perfect fit for a tiny dining area, and one of my best Amazon purchases to date.

Perfect size and easy to make your own

I looked everywhere for an affordable pedestal dining table that was large enough for at least two people, without taking up too much space. This arrived on time and in good condition. My only complaint is that they stapled some of the packaging to the bottom of the table top and it wasn't easy ripping the staples out. The unfinished wood made painting and staining a breeze and I couldn't be happier with the final product. The end result looks far more expensive than what I actually paid. A fantastic purchase.
Cute and functional! A great value!

I love it! It's all wood, was super easy to put together and finish. A fabulous spacesaver in my little NYC kitchen. This table is small but doesn't feel flimsy at all. From a top down perspective, the legs are situated at 2/5/8/11, but I think the chairs would tuck in a little easier if the legs were at 12/3/6/9. Otherwise, SUPER!
