I bought this cooler seven years ago and have hated it since day one

I bought this cooler seven years ago and have hated it since day one. When I first started it up I discovered the plastic sides were the wrong size and water went everywhere. That was after I reversed the pump plugs so that the purge pump didn't run all the time. Of course the purge pump barely worked because the connecting hose to the drain was kinked in half due to the spiral wrap being left off at the factory. Around 10% of the holes in the water distribution tube were not drilled out or were partially restricted by debris left from the drilling. When the pad needs to be replaced be prepared to spend at least $300 unless you like climbing on the roof and can do the job yourself. I gave two stars because the customer service ladies were very helpful and sent the needed parts quickly. I helped my son install an Aerocool side draft model that was pretty much the same except for the outlet and he has had absolutely no problems. I basically brought all this on myself because my cooler was about $100 cheaper and I figured that it would be hard to screw up such an old technology. My Bad!!

Got this to replace an old one. This fit the roof support of the old one. We got it installed in Denver by Airflow. Excellent installation. We love it , so much quieter than the last one. So glad we did it.
Works great. It was 90 today. We also got a rebate in Colorado to boot. Happy campers.
