These safety pins are great for short term use. The metal is not super thick and comes undone easily. However, I would still purchase these agin because they were a great deal and worked for what I needed them for.

I bought these to make pink ribbons to hand out to 3-Day For the Cure Walkers. They were much easier to use than the cheapo pins I've been buying at the local dollar store. These all had points (!) and they were sharp and well made. They came out to about the same price as well, and I have enough for at least another year!

Even though this product is used primarily for pinning marathon numbers onto the shirts of runners, I used them to pin baby outfits together for a yard sale. The safety pins are strong and very durable. In fact, my mother stated that people who sew, or do crafts could use these for all of their projects due to the strength and durability of the pins. This is a great product; one that I would recommend to everyone for all types of uses. Shipping was fast and I received them within five days of placing the order.
