I bought this spray to use over Uni-Posca paint pens. Seems to work well. No negative impact on the color or line definition. Not sure if UV blocking though. Uni-Posca pens really need UV protection.
As others have noted, this varnish is very strong smelling. In fact, I can't emphasize enough just HOW strong the odor is. If you use this product indoors, you will regret it. If you have asthma, you will struggle with this product. It is the strongest smelling spray product I have ever used...by at least a factor of 3X! I use it outdoors, and I leave the paintings outdoors for AT LEAST 6 hours on a warm day. BE WARNED! THE ODOR IS THAT STRONG! AND IT WILL JACK WITH ASTHMA...GUARANTEED.
Still, I am happy with the product and the seller. It was delivered in 3 days.

I use this to seal fluid art acrylic paintings with a gloss finish. It is easy to use (I have been spraying with the piece flat instead of vertical because I don't really have the space to do vertically). The finish is very nice. The only negative I have is that it does have a very strong smell that seems to last a long time after spraying (over a month). It definitely needs to spend a lot more time in the garage "drying" before I bring into the house. Because of that issue, I like the Liquitex Soluvar better.
