Great Boot and Gear Bag

For the money, this is a great option for carrying your boots and gear. it's roomy enough for size 12 boots, helmet, goggles, jacket, pants, long underwear, 2 pairs of gloves and more.
it's ideal for day/weekend trips via the car and occassional plane trips. if you're a heavy destination traveler via plane, i might look at different options from transpack since they have wider straps and beefier handles which will withstand checked bagging better.
i have both packs and prefer the athlon for local trips. it has better back padding and is more comfortable in general. Transpack is more rugged and optimum for plane travel but much more expensive.

What a great product! Everything about this bag is top quality. Handles are padded and I would be shocked if they ever tore loose. The bag fits full size ski boots without having to fight to get them in. The middle cargo area fits my son's helmet, gloves, gogglers, pants, and a light jacket EASILY. A large jacket could probably be stuffed in there. It is very tough quality and much better than anyone else's on his ski team. A little more expensive but I will probably buy another one for me. Worth the price in my opinion.

Before kids, I had purchased a fairly large bag and a smaller one to carry my ski gear. Since two kids began skiing, the frugal hubby has been stuffing 4 sets of boots into these two bags. I like the idea of this bag because helmets fit inside. This bag is huge. One bag will fit two pair of kids (9yo and 12yo) boots and two kids' helmets, so one for each family member should make our ski trips much more organized. With just one set of boots and one helmet in a bag, there's enough room for at least ski pants, if not pants and a jacket; plus multiple mittens/gloves etc - everything you would need will fit! It feels well made.
After actually packing for a trip, I can say that everything does fit - adult boots, adult bibs, adult jacket, adult helmet, 2 pair of big mittens, 2 pair of goggles, snacks and a camel back - with room to spare!!

Well designed and well made ski boot bag! I paid twice as much for an almost identical Marker bag. I fit my boots in the side pockets and all my ski gear in the main pocket, with several smaller pockets for my glove & accessories. Very well constructed. Boot pockets are brethable with grommet holes for wet boots that keep them leaking into main pocket where ski clothes are kept. Has backpack handles that zip away to avoid damage when flying. Great ski boot bag for adults - highly recommend. Comparable to $75-125 bags.
Top Handle Broke on First Day

Literally my first use of this bag and the top handle pulled away from the bag. The strap just has one stitch holding the top strap to the bag and the strapping material was not heat sealed on the ends so it frayed just like the previous handle breaking review. If Athalon fixes this fail, the bag will be great. Lots of room and well designed pockets. I will not be purchasing another Everything boot bag until they get this problem fixed.
