BEWARE/ASK FOR EXPIRATION DATE

THESE WERE SOOOOOOOO TERRIBLE!!! I thought it was just me or maybe they changed the recipe. I finally checked the box and they were months expired. I wouldn't have minded if they were expired if they tasted fine but wow these were BAD... I did get a refund though.

The price was right, the product has been a favorite of mine and my household for many years. I used to make these homemade but it's messy to do so and besides with their "already made, ready to eat" single treat package, there was no longer a need to do so.
These were ALL stale from the arrival. The expiration date was (gasp*) 10 days from the date we received it. Even so, these EXPIRED from being fresh weeks and weeks ago. I can only assume this best deal I found had a hidden reason why.......
These are not a high expense item, and they will be consumed. Next time this buyer will try and beware and investigate not just price and size quantities but also freshness expiration.

Delicious, came nice and fresh, in a very large box and individually wrapped, just like I ordered. It even arrived early which is great because I couldn't wait. I can't find these locally and the homemade ones taste different so these are a nice treat.

I bought this as a snack for my family members, however they were stale when received. The expiration date was just 2 weeks out from when I received them (and they were stale before that expiration date). This was disappointing, especially since the box was so large.
Special Treat While in Rehab

Until I can get home to make them again in my kitchen, these fulfill my craving for a long-loved treat. They are much coveted by several patients in the rehab center. Would suggest them as a gift for those who aren't on restricted diets and are recovering in rehab or are in assisted living situations. Especially if you want a senior's eyes to light up when they "taste a memory." Just a thought :)
