My septic system is rather new, only a 5 years old. I have been using CLR Septic System Treatment ever since installation and have not experienced any problems. However given the short length of time since the installation of the system and proper use there of, I'm not so sure any problems would have surfaced (no pun intended) in this time period. In the meantime I will continue to use CLR.

This works well and doesn't have a bad smell like some cleaners. I have asthma an this doesn't bother my breathing at all (of course asthmatics can have very different allergies, so this is not any sort of guarantee others will be okay with it)
I was surprised by the size. I didn't even know it came in 14 oz. which is what this is. I had been getting 32 oz. ones so this was less than half the expected size. For some reason this page doesn't give the size, so I thought I'd do it.
