Big improvement over my old release. As a bow hunter I still wanted something that I could lock into the D-loop and not worry about it coming out while I wait for that perfect draw. Now I have a lot better control over the trigger position over the Velcro strap on my old release. The buckle makes things repeatable. Took me a few months to finally tighten the set screw to lock the length adjustment. :)

Just to give a little background: i draw 70# and shoot an avg about 1500 arrows a year.

Pros: Smooth release, very consistent
Cons: Began to allow the D loop to release arrows during draw, can't adjust the release mech tension.

Quality release. Folds up and stays out of the way till you need it. Quiet buckle. No loud velcro. Good adjustment options.

I purchased this release around a year ago. Prior to 10 minutes ago, this was my favorite release. However, I just experienced a malfunction in the release, which caused me to lose a gold tip arrow I purchased yesterday ($15 an arrow approximately). The clasp that attaches to the d-loop no longer shuts completely, so mid-draw the force allows the d-loop to slip through to clasp and causes the bow to shoot prematurely. I punched myself in the face and lost a brand new, expensive arrow. I would suggest anyone who has already purchased one of these to inspect their release thoroughly before shooting. For paying nearly $70 I am very disappointed this release didn't even last a year. I am going to contact the seller, and I will update this review accordingly afterwards.

I am a newer shooter and was using an older pull style release. This release keeps me relaxed as I pull back and hold. It is very comfortable to wear and pull arrows without getting in the way.

I highly recommend this release to anyone that is on the fence about which to buy.
