I've been looking for some real old fashioned style pepperoni because the pre sliced stuff in the grocery stores are only OK tasting. I had some bridgford products in the past and didn't remember them being particularly good but since I saw so many positive reviews on this particular product, I thought I'd give it a try. I have to say I'm glad I did! This is the pepperoni on your old school neighborhood pizza joint pizza ðŸ•, the greasy, spicy type that cup up and get those crispy edges. It has a great traditional flavor and really brought my homemade pizza up a notch. I would recommend peeling the casing because I didn't on my first pizza and I found it to be too thick and possibly inedible. Lesson learned. It's a bit more and messier work than the pre sliced stuff because of the grease and slicing but if you have your own slicer or a good knife and a steady hand, I think it's worth the effort. It has a very long shelf life before opening and it really tastes great. Kick that homemade pizza and recipes up a notch!

This used to be something I could only pick up at an east coast club store like BJ's when traveling. A little more expensive this way, but I don't care. Just ordered another trio for a party next month. Antipasto plates and making pepperoni calzones! Highly recommend. ESP if you remove the casing after unwrapping. Just wrap leftover in paper-towel. The longer it dries out the better it gets!

This particular brand of pepperoni (Bridgeford), has a very "Old World Country" type taste.Nicely spiced and lends itself well to being a main ingredient for things like spaghetti,lightly or finely chopped....or pizza,,thinly sliced....or even as a spicey addition to a salad...I highly recommend this pepperoni...Also as always I am super impressed with Amazon shipping...Fast and courteous.

Pretty dissatisfied with the traditional grocery store fare (Hormel, etc.). This was cheaper per ounce than the mediocre grocery store stuff, tastes MUCH better, and has an incredible cup after baking. Never going with another pepperoni. Buy this meat.

I almost didn't purchase this due to the reviews complaining about receiving opened, moldy, expired or otherwise unusable pepperoni sticks. However, my curiosity about tasting this product overrode those reservations. The package arrived in perfect shape, and none of the sticks was open, punctured or damaged in any way.

This is really good pepperoni, perfect for slicing up for a snack or for a pizza. I've even taken to putting it on salads (it's a lot of pepperoni, and once a stick has been opened, it only lasts for 3 weeks refrigerated, so you need to find ways to go through it). The pepperoni is somewhat greasy, but that's to be expected. Once it's cooked it becomes nice and crisp and doesn't continue to drip grease everywhere like some brands.

I've enjoyed it, and will definitely be purchasing more!
