With the wood I'm very pleased

I really like this wine rack. I ordered it Saturday and got it Sunday. The assembly was not hard at all. I followed the others suggestions and got some wood. I wanted to get Quartz but I didn't have the tools to cut it.
Right now I have I have a birch 1/2 in thick plywood I got for $16 buck at Home Depot. I'll probably stain it later or try oak or another type of wood down the line.
It is a bit wobbly but I bolt it to the wall and it's much sturdier.
I am very please with this purchase. The Additional wood makes ALL the difference.

Its a lot smaller than expected and seems flimsy. It came bent in a few places, specifically the slates on the top shelf. They bow in and you can't flatten it out. I had to bend the wine racks back into shape and the track for the baskets had to be bent back so that they could fit. I am now at a crossroads with this thing. I cant utilize it for much (the slatted shelves make it useless) but is it worth the trouble of taking it apart and trying to fit it back in the box the right way?

I was worried this would be too small and short. I LOVE this. It isn't as small I pictured. I was looking for something to place this rack on to lift, but since putting it together, I do not believe it needs to be lifted. There is a place for 12 bottles of wine. I am very happy with this rack!
A little smaller than I thought it would be but a nice touch for holding wine
