I have searched for real Cinnamon oil for a long time. What you find in stores is either Cinnamon 'flavoring' which is Cinnamon oil mixed with another edible oil or "aroma therapy" oil that is not approved for consumption. This is the REAL stuff, just pure Cinnamon oil. Use caution because it has a good 'bite' to it. I add a few drops to coffee or tea or dip toothpicks in it for sitting around picking my teeth. :)

This is great if you have a diffuser or a cinnamon broom. I purchased it for my cinnamon broom which needs a touch up after the scent fades. Haven't used it in foods but it works for everything I purchased it for.
