Great beginners mando especially for the price. Sounds great electrically and even better through a pedal. Get new decent strings and stretch and will deliver quality sound

I really like the mandolin good price sounds good.

I'm very satisfied with this mandolin. First of all it sounds pretty darn good. I've had it a couple weeks now and I actually went into guitar center a few times to play a few more expensive models and to me there's hardly a difference in sound so this product has exceeded expectations for sound. For action, this product is far better than some mandolins I've played. Fretting is very workable. It also sounds fine plugged in and I even played it for our church worship service a couple weeks ago and got nothing but compliments on its sound. My only qualm with it is that the pick guard has some fraying of the plastic on the ends but that's so minor that's the only reason I'm mentioning it is because I want this review to be as complete as possible.

So in summary:

Sound: Exceeds Expectations
Action: Meets Expectations
Appearance: Meets Expectations (even with the minor fraying it's a decent and pretty little thing)
Electronics: Exceeds Expectations (since the model is cheaper I thought the plugged in sound would be worse but I liked it)
Price: Exceeds Expectations

Great instrument for the price. Clear tone and good action. Looks good too!

I have their uke and really like the instrument...that's why I purchased this mandolin but can't say I like it.
Strings were rusted...strike plate had rough edge...
