This worked great on our grill. My hubby replaced it with the old one that burnt apart and we are now grilling again. You should probably know a little about grills and know ahead of ordering it - that you can replace it and it is the right model number for your grill. I love that we didn't have to go out and buy a new grill for 400-500$, which is what ours would of cost to buy new. It is so heavy duty and a really great grill, also gave in -laws many, many years of grilling and us a good 2-3 years (we took it from them when they won a new one) before the unit burnt it's self apart. Hope this heating unit will last many, many years. My husband said this heating unit will probably last longer than the grill body itself.
