This lipstick is awsome. It doesn't dry out your lips at all. It's a wonderful color as well. I would put it on all the time just for fun. I wore it for a costume and a full performance that was three hours long and it didn't fade at all. I wore it all by itself and it stayed on all halloween night. For the performance I just put a very small amount of baby powder over it or stage makeup sealing poweder. It didn't fade at all. For those who said it faded fast either put a chapstick under it that made it fade or something because it stayed on perfectly for me. I LOVE IT! If I need to get another fancy color of lipstick I will get this brand. It's perfect, I love it. I don't regret the buy at all. You also don't need very much. Just a swipe or two over your lips and it's on. My whole face was green so I needed my lips to stay green to and it perfectly covered. No regrets, perfect, wonderful stuff! I had several complements about the lipstick. If you need green lipstick this is the stuff.

I would say that my only serious complaint is that the lipstick tube had the packaging sticker slapped right on it. It comes in a very pretty little tube and I was VERY unhappy to have sticky glue residue on my tube. I scrubbed and scrubbed to get rid of this.

Other than the minor packaging issue, I think I have found my perfect red! I read a review on here that said the shade was good for women of color, so I took a chance and ordered it (I am a dark shade of creamed coffee and I have lots of red-brown tones in my skin). It brings out the fullness of my lips and it doesn't dry my lips out! Worth the price. The only other thing is that after a few hours and drink cups, the shade will fade to a hot pink, but it is a very lovely shade regardless and it grows on me more and more.

I don't know if reviews come up from other products or what, but I was scared when I read the reviews for this product saying that either it was too purple or too red and people being disappointed saying it was too bright. I worried that this would be a problem, but I bought it anyways, because I love and trust Manic Panic for my hair colors, so why not for my lips? I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I was very pleased.The color I received in the mail is EXACTLY as depicted, that deep burgundy red, and it looks gorgeous on me. The texture was perfect and striking. I had previously asked as to whether it stains teeth, and while it does indeed do so, it can be avoided when following the advice other buyers gave me. I LOVE this product and I will be buying much more in the future. I'm pretty sure I'm becoming a loyal customer to Manic Panic.

Manic Panic no longer gets bonus points for the amazing, vibrant colors of their products; it's expected all the time now, otherwise this might be a 5-star review for me. Needless to say, the red is beautiful and didn't cost them points.

As someone with naturally dry lips and skin, this product isn't as moisturizing as other lipsticks I've tried, but it also didn't dry them out or give that heavy, cakey, my-lips-are-glued-together feeling that some of the thicker brands give you. For the price, it is definitely good quality. What I like most about this one is that unlike some reds that will bleed outside your lipline if you don't use lip liner, I had no issues with this bleeding onto my skin from my lips. It stayed put, it lasted through most of a meal and only needed a dab to refresh it. I would buy this again.

Such a classic! I used to wear Raven in high school and loved having bold, unique (in my area) lips. Package arrived promptly, when promised, and it is indeed Manic Panic brand (I don't know why anyone would say otherwise). I absolutely love the packaging, whoever chose that was spot-on. As per usual with most lipsticks, starting off with clean, dry lips is a must. This is definitely a lipstick that requires layering, and re-applying throughout the day, but I find that it's worth it. There are a few tutorials online on how to make cream lipsticks (and more specifically, black lipstick) stay on longer, so I'd suggest checking those out. It's an extremely creamy, moisturizing lipstick, so that's great. Be warned, it does rub off on everything (and I mean anything that merely swipes against your face). Despite the few small negative aspects of this, I do love the lipstick and I'll probably continue to buy this for years to come.
