Terrible material for windshields!!!

This product is made out of an artificial material that is NO good for your windshield!
It will work great to dry a small part of your car but terrible on your windshield. The material is too tacky for glass, it does not slide easily.
Has to made out of real "CHAMOIS" skin material to be effective, this artificial material is not the ticket.

Awesome. Potentially cancer-causing, but awesome.

It works so well and is perfect when you don't have the time or patients to wait for the exhaust fan to defog, though I was a little concerned when the packaging said that California thinks this is going to give me cancer. But I live in Washington, so I'm safe ;)
Useful but not in the way I intended

This sponge worked in a very different way than I had hoped, but it's still nice. I originally purchased it hoping that it could help de-fog the inside of my car on humid Kansas mornings. However, what I didn't realize is that there is some kind of soap built into the sponge and it ended up smearing my windshield so much worse. I now use it to just clean my headlights and tail lights when washing my car (it does a great job of that!) but it's not as useful to me for cleaning the insides of windows.

This is a most useful device. I have a car that the windshield seems to want to lightly fog especially when the heat is on me and not the window. I like the heat on me. So I bought this and wiped the window with it and I've not had any problems since. Actually I'm an academic so I wiped one side of the windshield and compared it with the up-wipe side. It really does work.
Only time will tell

Not difficult to use but the need of going over the same surface more than twice is usual the norm even if the surface is semi-clean. One must look for the 'dust' lines which are formed by each stroke and then collect them, similar to lint pu. It is a good invention in that the applicator is dry, however, there are some streaks which can not be removed by this applicator.
