The new bearings are junk
centenary•September 8, 2017
When I ordered these bearings in January, they were great. Unfortunately, I ordered these bearings again last week and the new bearings are junk. The bearings are so caked with viscous grease that they can barely spin at all.
The old bearings were marked with "BC Precision", while the new bearings don't bear any branding. They don't even contain the VXB branding from the photos. So I'm not sure whether I've received an authentic product, at the very least it's not the same product as before.
Both the old and new bearings were shipped and sold by Amazon.com

Bearings that don't spin aren't worth
Jared•August 2, 2017
Wow... just wow. Aren't bearings supposed to spin? I got these directly out of the package and they are sooooo rough. as I hold the middle and flick the end as hard as I can there is absolutely no spin to them... it's like they're missing balls on the inside.
3D Printed Fidget Spinners? Get these.

I used these for a 3D printed fidget spinner. These come packed with grease(completely normal)....anyone complaining that it doesn't spin long enough...hit it with some light oil like WD40 and break it free of that grease...works fine after that. I'd buy these again. Minimal packaging and they work well.
Inconsistant

Bought a pack the week before and they were great. That is why I bought another. The first pack had some light oil in them and they worked perfectly for a spinner right out of the box. The second pack was sticky inside and out. They were sticky to the touch and got sticky crap everywhere. They also did not spin well because of the stickiness inside. I had to soak them with alcohol to get them to work decently. Still not as good as the first pack.
Arrived quickly, quality is so so.

Bearings arrived quickly which is a plus, the only downside I'm seeing is 2 of the 8 do not spin smoothly, feel like there are burrs on some of the ball bearings. They will still work, just unfortunate that brand new bearings show up feeling rougher than many year old hard used ones.
