Looks worse in person than it does in the photo. We hoped this would be an attractive cover over our plain, old light pole. But it's like the "Little Tikes" version of a lamp post made in unattractive lightweight plastic.

This is a black plastic light post. It is cheaply made with very visible seams running along th corners. It is not heavy duty and would be pushed over in a strong wind (my opinion). I returned it.
