Typewriter works as good as new.
Joyce A.•December 13, 2017
I ordered the wrong ribbon for my vintage 1930's Royal typewriter. I called EBS, where the ribbon came from, and they knew what I really needed, sent it to me quickly and it worked like an original.
Great as always

I am old school, and is good to have a reel typewriter next to my PC thanks for ribbon. And good price.
Perfect--and three days early.

Thank you so much. The ribbon and spools I ordered for my Royal, down to the very last detail as I could ascertain, is exactly the same as the dried-up ribbon that was on this beautiful machine when I first bought it (the Royal) two weeks ago in December, 2014. I will be buying one or two more of these in the very near future.
I am a writer and favor manual typewriters over computer keyboards. The nostalgia that drips with every slap of a key against a platen is the only sound like it in the whole wide world. I don't put a keyboard down or diminish its value, I simply and vastly prefer the sense of originality and "doing it by hand" that comes from a typewriter that was made between 1938 and, perhaps, 1942 (my closest estimate).
It beats the hell out of a Timex.
USPS delivered ahead of schedule and your packaging was more than adequate. Within minutes of receiving the package I was typing away with a very happy mind.
Thanks again,
