We looked high and low for a meat fork. They used to be found in discount stores and cheaper ones were available at larger grocery stores. There are several listed here on Amazon. After reading the product information and customer reviews, I chose this one. Made in USA, this is fork is a good choice that should last 10-20 years or more. The fork's handle fits well in my hand and is smooth and the metal tines are weighty. I am choosing not to put it in the dishwasher, so the wooden handle won't dry out. I would recommend this fork and other cutlery products from this company. I think it is worth a few dollars more to buy American.

Growing up, a carving fork was made of stealing silver, was decorative and only used at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
This here is a solid tool for BBQ, roasts, whatever. Balanced, easy to clean with a nice wooden handle. It's a bit more due to being American made, but it will be worth it over the years.
