Nice, fragrant smell. Mixes very well with frankincense, especially for Orthodox Christians or Catholics who are looking for something similar to what they get at church. My only qualm is the size of the pieces, which do need to be broken down, especially if mixing with other types of incense. Breaking into smaller pieces is not easy with this particular resin, which may account for why it is left to the consumer, but I am otherwise very pleased with this purchase.
Misleading product description, and a total waste of time and money

WOW!!!! I could not have possibly imagined the extent of how crappy the qualjty of this "inscencs" (i usd the term VERY loosely). In their 'description' of the product it clearly states, there is no wood or bark to interfere with the 'inscensce' aroma!!! I think they meant to say there was no inscence to get in the way of the wood!!! I want to return it, but it took 8 or 9 days before it was even sent out! So i don't know if it will be worth the wait to get a replacement, and if it will be any better quality 2nd time around. Doubtful.

If I could give it no stars I would .It states in the description that no fillers or bark or anything just pure it's a stright out lie and false advertising. Ripping people off for a product they don't recive is dishonest.I will never recommend to anyone I'm so mad right now just plain horrible full of rocks and bark and plastic.
Warning. 70 percent is wood chunks and dust.

This stuff isn't Myrrh. I received dirt, sticks, wood, bark and after sorting through the bag there was only 20 percent resin and it all smells like stinky burning wood chunks. Not something to burn inside. Pay the extra 10 bucks and get the real quality resin. I did and its amazing aroma mixed with the francinsce.

Don't waste you're money on this bag of bark. I separated out all the bark from the actual myrrh resin, a time consuming affair,
and was left with 3-4 oz. of resin. It was overpriced to boot. When I pay $12.95 a pound, I don't want bark filler!
The Bible refers to myrrh as sweet smelling....this is not. Poor quality. Two stars for double stinky.The bottom line for me is I won't buy this brand again!
