Worked GREAT on my Small Service Animal.

This item appears to have worked great on my small service animal. He used it at a concert and the sound level didn't appear to bother him. He didn't try to shake them off and seemed calm when the noise levels were up.
My dog left them on so I'm guessing they worked for him!

Bought these for my dog for the fireworks - he seemed to like them and the only reason I am saying that is that he left them on. I believe they worked all the days up the the 4th, but my neighborhood is ridiculous with fireworks so nothing really works on that day.
but they don't fit great. I think the smallest would have been too ...

I have a JRT, 13 pounds. I bought these because they were the only ear protection I could find for a smaller dog. He loves to ride the mower and I didn't want to endanger his hearing.
I never thought I'd buy ear protection for a dog, yet here I am. They're a bit overpriced, but I didn't have many options. It's two padded ear cups with two Velcro straps that span the top of the head and a Velcro chin strap.
My dog knows he has to wear them in order to ride, so he tolerates them. I ordered the second smallest size, but they don't fit great. I think the smallest would have been too small. I make them work by looping the chin strap behind his ear and sticking to the strap on top of his head. The issue may be the shape of his head, or he could be in between sizes.

I like them; no response from dog yet, although he is getting used to them. I have worn them to see how much noise reduction compared to ones I wear. These definitely break the edge off loud sound/s and have protection, to what degree, cannot say, they do not fit as snuggly as on my hairless head. Between these and goggles definitely look like an over protective parent.

Doesn't work the greatest on my great Dane which I bought this for 4th of July because she barks when she hears fireworks. Her ears are to big and doesn't fit great on her head. Did take her a little getting used to as well but that is to be expected. Helps with some sounds just not the loud ones we were wanting to protect her from.
